Hi I'm Erik and on Today I Watched I talk about tv shows, movies, and wrestling!

Today I watched the pilot episode of NBC’s The Duck Factory created by Allan Burns and Herbert Klynn and starring Jim CarreyJulie Payne, and Nancy Lane . This show aired in 1984 and only lasted 13 episodes. In this podcast I mention that M*A*S*H, Cheers and Taxi are the only great sitcoms from the 80′s, but to be fair M*A*S*H aired a majority of its seasons in the 70′s and Taxi began in 1978. Then Cheers lasted into the 90′s, so that almost doesn’t count either. Nonetheless, three excellent television programs. Speaking of Taxi, Jim Carrey would later recreate the classic sitcom playing Andy Kaufman in Man on the Moon.
